A well-established group with two 4-star hotels in Cape Town and Johannesburg is seeking a results-driven Group Sales Manager. The successful candidate can be based in either location and will oversee sales strategies to drive revenue growth across both properties. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies for both properties to achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and tour operators.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market reach.
Coordinate with the marketing team on promotional activities to drive bookings.
Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Conduct site inspections and host sales presentations to showcase the properties to potential clients.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure a seamless guest experience from booking to departure.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximise revenue.
Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the hotels and build networks.
Requirements:
SA citizen.
Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry, managing multiple properties.
Strong knowledge of corporate, MICE, and leisure markets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse data, monitor KPIs, and implement effective strategies.
Willingness to travel between Cape Town and Johannesburg if required.
A self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
