ENROLLED NURSE - MEDICAL
To Provide age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC). Primarily responsible for the general care of the patients in the Medical Ward.

- Practice within your scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- To update and maintain quality records within the statutory required retention period through proper identification, filing, storage maintenance and disposition of these records.
- To ensure and maintains accurate billings of drugs and consumable items used by individual patient.
- Ensures the cleanliness and tidiness of the theatre, anaesthetic rooms, and other areas.
- Compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
- Provide safety, quality patient care in the ward.
- Attend to patient’s complaints.
- Practice within your scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Observing, measuring, and recording patients’ vital statistics and reporting changes in patient’s conditions to RNs and doctors.
- Providing physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations.
- Provide safe, quality patient care in the ward.
