Conduct technical test-work (Flotation, microflotation, and flocculation)
Adhering to project time frame, conducting technical test-work, reagents preparation & sample preparation
Writing scope of work for all the technical test-work
Populating the results of the technical test-work and writing the technical report after each completed project
Generating of purchase requisition (PR) on SAP
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, and R&D to support product development
Housekeeping and adhering to SHEQ policies & standard operating procedures
Qualifications & Experience
Matric / Grade 12 (with Maths and Science)
National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy (required)
B-Tech/BSc Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy (advantageous)
Minimum 2 to 3 year experience in Metallurgical Laboratory
Metallurgical competency
In-depth understanding of flotation principles, techniques, and reagent roles, with knowledge in optimizing flotation reagents (collectors, frothers, depressants, flocculants)
Knowledge of laboratory and on-site testing procedures, and ability to analyse and interpret data from flotation test work
