The vacancy exists within the Documentation department in the Distributions Division and reports to the Supervisor: Copyright. The purpose of the position is to ensure that all works on the SAMRO system are activated or amended with the correct copyright owners and shareholding.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has successfully completed Grade 12 with 6months’ experience as a Data Capturer.
Key Performance areas:
Activation and amending of Copyright
Quality of activated works
Minimum requirements:
Intermediatelevel of PC & Keyboard skills including working knowledge of wordprocessing & spreadsheet packages;
Matric;
6months’ experience as Data Capturer;
Excellentdata capturing skills (speed and accuracy);
Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills;
Abasic numerical ability;
Provenability to analyse information with a logic systematic approach;
Workingknowledge of SAMRO systems and research methodology would be an advantage.
