Control Room Risk Manager- (National Command Centre)
Position: Control Room Risk Manager (National Command Centre) Location: Roodepoort
Overview:
The Control Room Risk Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of risk management within the control room. This individual will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the safety and security of the control room operations.
MUST BE WILLING TO WORK SHIFTS. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures for the control room.
Must have surveillance background
2Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities within the control room.
Develop risk mitigation strategies and plans to address identified risks.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.
Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to address and resolve any security or safety concerns within the control room.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and regulations related to risk management.
Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the status of risk management within the control room.
Develop and deliver training programs for control room staff on risk management practices and procedures.
Investigate and report on any incidents or security breaches within the control room.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a holistic approach to risk management across the organization.
Qualifications:
PSIRA Grade A
Own Transport
3 years of experience in risk management, preferably in a control room or similar environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions quickly and effectively.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices related to risk management.
