Join our team at a prestigious 4-star hotel in Cape Town, renowned for delivering exceptional service and unforgettable guest experiences. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barman/Bar Manager to lead our bar operations, creating a vibrant and sophisticated atmosphere for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring high-quality service and a smooth workflow.
Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wines, and spirits, with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Develop and curate innovative drink menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and popular trends.
Train and supervise bar staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about products and able to deliver excellent service.
Manage stock levels, inventory, and orders, minimizing waste and ensuring profitability.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Engage with guests to provide a memorable experience and maintain high standards of customer service.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.

Requirements:

Mixology qualification or equivalent certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Bar Manager in a high-end hospitality setting.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create and innovate new cocktails while keeping up with trends in the industry.
Knowledge of inventory management and cost control.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to R10 000,00 per month
