Administrative Assistant


Department: Centre for Health Policy
Position: Administrative Assistant
CHP would like to offer a 2-year contract to an eager, dynamic and hard-working person. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop competencies in a variety of administrative and financial areas and develop a range of skills for use in their future career. Induction will be provided as well as essential training on the Wits Software system (ORACLE I-Proc & Project Modules).

Duties:
Assisting the administrative and finance team with a variety of financial and administrative tasks
Procurement
Input of publications information on the Wits publication site
Website maintenance
Preparing meeting rooms with refreshments and equipment
Managing grocery and stationery supplies
Deliveries and collections
Photocopying & filing
Maintaining equipment and asset registers
Data capturing
Preparation of payment requests, payroll claims and internal requisitions
Student administration

Requirements, work experience and qualifications:
Matric certificate
Preferably studying towards their post-school qualification, (preferable in administration or finance)
Basic computer skills •
A driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience
Some work experience will be an added advantage
