Position: Administrative Assistant
CHP would like to offer a 2-year contract to an eager, dynamic and hard-working person. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop competencies in a variety of administrative and financial areas and develop a range of skills for use in their future career. Induction will be provided as well as essential training on the Wits Software system (ORACLE I-Proc & Project Modules).
Duties:
• Assisting the administrative and finance team with a variety of financial and administrative tasks
• Procurement
• Input of publications information on the Wits publication site
• Website maintenance
• Preparing meeting rooms with refreshments and equipment
• Managing grocery and stationery supplies
• Deliveries and collections
• Photocopying & filing
• Maintaining equipment and asset registers
• Data capturing
• Preparation of payment requests, payroll claims and internal requisitions
• Student administration
Requirements, work experience and qualifications:
• Matric certificate
• Preferably studying towards their post-school qualification, (preferable in administration or finance)
• Basic computer skills •
A driver’s license with at least 3 years driving experience
• Some work experience will be an added advantage
