Serve as an educator and facilitator to foster student development and co-curricular learning by actively engaging with student club leaders and members. In doing so, support the cultivation of ownership, social responsibility, inclusiveness, and accountability, in alignment with NTU Education goals. Additionally, function as an effective intermediary between university management and student governing bodies to enhance overall student engagement. Main Co-ordinator for Student Organisation module of the Student Management System.
Responsibilities
1) Student Governing Bodies/Organisations

Oversee approximately 32 student clubs, independently evaluating the relevance, inclusiveness, and effectiveness of their activities and events, and providing coaching to student leaders on program implementation.

Facilitate effective collaboration among clubs and with other university offices and external partners to achieve desired learning outcomes.

Promote initiatives that enhance intercultural competence.

Assess potential risks associated with activities, including the possible consequences for students' learning experiences, and provide appropriate advice.

Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including funding and facilities.
2) Data Analysis

Conduct feedback, collate statistics, and analyse reports to evaluate effectiveness of organised events and propose improvements.

Support the preparation of management reports for submission to MOE and university senior management, where applicable.

Requirements
-
A good degree from a recognised university with at least 8 years of work experience.

Relevant experience working with students, particularly in the higher education sector, is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management systems.

Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate effectively with university students and colleagues from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds.

Analytical thinking to assess and break down complex issues, problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions, and systems thinking to manage project interactions.
