Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Participates in the implementation of Safety department policies, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled.
- Supervises the day to day operations of Safety department providing some guidance in facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.
- Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of the Safety unit activity is carried out in an efficient manner.
- Reviews the effectiveness of safety procedures and mechanisms continuously recommending suitable changes or improvements where necessary.
- Supervises the coordination with police, fire or ambulance authorities in cases of attendance at emergency incidents and facilitates site entry and exit to ensure expeditious handling of the situation
- Anticipates possible problems and deploys resources to deal with those.
- Investigates breaches of safety and takes corrective action to prevent recurrence.
- Participates in training & development to stay up-to-date with the changes occurring in the premises as well as the rules.
- Identifies dangerous spots that need enhancement in the premises to make sure that all premises are safe.
- Analyzes and reviews the developed reports on incidents and on any malfunctioning equipment to ensure that the required action is taken promptly.
Qualifications
- Diploma degree in Safety.
- 2-4 years of related.
- Business Acumen.
- English Language Skills.
- Professional Writing Skills.
- IT & Computer Literacy.
- Management Skills.
- Health & Safety Awareness.
