Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Coordinate and conduct safety training for employees, including emergency response, hazard communication, and proper equipment usage.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, incidents, and training sessions.
- Collaborate with management and staff to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
- Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce its proper use on-site.
- Stay up-to-date on safety regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations or other governing bodies.
- Prepare reports and communicate safety concerns to management and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans, fire safety protocols, and first aid procedures.
- Requirements:
- Qualification: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, HSE Diploma/Degree
- Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in related field
- 8 hours duty/day, 6 days a week
- 3 years renewable contract
