Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and legal requirements.
Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses to determine causes and recommend preventive measures.
Coordinate and conduct safety training for employees, including emergency response, hazard communication, and proper equipment usage.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, incidents, and training sessions.
Collaborate with management and staff to promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce its proper use on-site.
Stay up-to-date on safety regulations, codes, and standards, ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations or other governing bodies.
Prepare reports and communicate safety concerns to management and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in the development of emergency response plans, fire safety protocols, and first aid procedures.
