WSP is looking for a highly experienced Road Engineer to join our team for a large-scale infrastructure project in Madinah. The ideal candidate should have extensive supervision experience on major infrastructure projects, specifically focused on bridges and tunnels. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring project quality, adherence to timelines, and compliance with safety standards.

Your new role, what's involved?

Supervise and oversee the execution of road engineering activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, project plans, and industry standards.
Monitor and manage the construction of bridges and tunnels, addressing technical challenges and providing engineering solutions as needed.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless execution of the project.
Conduct site inspections and prepare detailed reports on project progress, identifying and mitigating any potential risks.
Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and construction materials in alignment with project requirements.
Ensure that all construction activities are performed according to the highest safety standards and quality benchmarks.
Assist in managing project schedules, resource allocation, and deliverables to meet deadlines.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 15 years of experience in road and infrastructure projects, with a focus on bridges and tunnels.
Proven supervision experience on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction practices.
Familiarity with international engineering standards and local regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
Previous experience in the Middle East region is preferred.
