Position: Procurement Manager

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our team for a fiber pipeline project in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for the strategic sourcing of materials and services, overseeing quality control, and ensuring the efficient management of procurement processes in line with project specifications and budgets.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely availability of materials and services while adhering to budget and quality standards.
• Manage the entire procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and procurement execution.
• Oversee quality control and inspection of materials and services to ensure compliance with project and industry standards.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting systems to track procurement activities and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and other key stakeholders to align procurement activities with project timelines and objectives.
• Ensure compliance with local and international procurement regulations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of ten (10) years of construction experience, with at least five (5) years in procurement of materials and managing quality control and inspection processes.
• At least five (5) years of experience working in the Middle East or in a similar environment.
• Strong technical and administrative background, with proven ability to manage detailed reporting and documentation.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

Qualifications:

• Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing contracts and supplier relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proven leadership and team management abilities.
• Knowledge of modern procurement and inventory management software.
