Job Title: Procurement Executive
Location: Petroraq Engineering & Construction
Department: Procurement
Reports To: Procurement Manager / Operations Head

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Procurement Executive with experience in sales purchasing to join our team. The successful candidate will manage the procurement process, negotiate with suppliers, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure efficient purchasing of materials and services required by the company. This role is critical in balancing cost-effectiveness and product quality, ensuring smooth supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier negotiations.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms.
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
Handle purchase requisitions and purchase orders in alignment with company policies.
Negotiate contracts and monitor the timely delivery of materials and services.
Coordinate with sales and other departments to ensure timely supply of materials required for projects or client orders.
Monitor stock levels and reorder as necessary to avoid disruptions in operations.
Analyze purchase data and provide regular procurement reports to management.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and forecast future demands.
Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring that they adhere to company standards and policies.
Ensure compliance with legal and company procurement policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sales-related roles.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Knowledge of supplier evaluation, contract management, and purchasing strategies.
Preferred:
Experience in procurement or sales within the [industry] (e.g., construction, manufacturing, etc.).
Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
