Night Manager (Saudi Only)

Job Summary:
The Front Office Night Manager oversees all front desk operations during the night shift, ensuring exceptional guest service and smooth operational flow. This role involves supervising the night team, managing guest inquiries, and ensuring the security and safety of the property during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to guest satisfaction, and the ability to handle various situations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision and Leadership:
    • Lead and supervise the front desk team during the night shift, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional guest service.
    • Conduct nightly briefings to communicate relevant information, updates, and priorities for the shift.
    • Train and mentor night staff, providing ongoing support and performance feedback.
  • Guest Relations:
    • Greet and assist guests during check-in and check-out, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints effectively.
    • Ensure that all guests receive a warm and welcoming experience, even during late hours.
    • Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee all front desk operations, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
    • Maintain accurate records of room availability, reservations, and cancellations.
    • Handle any emergencies or incidents that may occur during the night, coordinating with relevant departments as necessary.
  • Financial Transactions:
    • Ensure accurate billing and payment processing for guests, managing cash and credit transactions.
    • Prepare and reconcile daily financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
    • Monitor and manage night audit procedures, ensuring all transactions are accurately posted.
  • Communication and Coordination:
    • Liaise with security and maintenance teams to ensure the safety and security of guests and property.
    • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., housekeeping, catering) to fulfill guest requests and ensure operational efficiency.
    • Document any incidents or maintenance issues and follow up to ensure resolution.
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a front office or guest services role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position.
    • Experience in hotel or hospitality industry preferred.
