Responsibilities:-
As a minimum the correct candidate will need to demonstrate an established and significant track record including:
- Extensive experience in the detailed design, evaluation and specification of concrete and steel structures
- Experience in the structural design of large infrastructure projects
- Experience should be in the infrastructure industry including the Concrete, Building, Roads, Architecture, Wet Utilities Sectors.
- Experience in heavy equipment supporting structures
- Experienced in preparation of Bid Documents.
- Proven ability in structural analysis software including Autodesk Revit, STAAD Pro, Robot Structural Analysis and other structural design software tools including Tekla TEDDS, Math CAD, Microsoft Excel, etc.
- Fluent in corrosion protection design and production of durability assessment reports
- Proven ability of undertaking technical trouble-shooting
- Coordinate with Architectural and Civil disciplines into the preparation of 3D computer design model, including clash checking.
- Must have thorough knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards, ACI, ASCE-7.
- Experience in geotechnical data interpretation.
- Understanding of piping discipline related actions

Structural design detailing
- Detailed design structural experience in Concrete, Building, Roads, Wet Utilities is a benefit
- Experience in structural steel design of infrastructure proeject is a benefit
- Field experience during construction stages of project and be able to communicate with team leaders of a multi-discipline team is desired and will act as a plus.
- Performs field inspections and provides professional field support as necessary during construction phases.
- Experience of steel / concrete composite construction design
- Qualifications:-
- The correct candidate will need to be qualified to accredited Bachelor degree level (with proven substantial design experience) in Structural Engineering

Ability to demonstrate and have attested, from previous employers their previous relevant experience.
Preferred:
- Accredited Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline Masters (MSc Degree)
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status
