Senior Manager of Logistics and Operations

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Logistics and Operations to join our team and oversee both local and international logistics. The role involves ensuring timely deliveries, working closely with 3PL partners and the IT department for system integration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Logistics Management:
a. Oversee and manage local 3PL logistics and operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
b. Supervise logistics for international orders from China and Pak, ensuring smooth transit and delivery.
2. Logistic Partners Management:
a. Develop and maintain strong relationships with 3PL partners.
b. Negotiate commercial terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and contracts with logistics providers.
c. Monitor 3PL performance and ensure adherence to agreed SLAs and KPIs.
3. Fulfillment Operations:
a. Oversee the fulfillment process to ensure orders are processed and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
b. Manage reverse fulfillment processes, including returns and exchanges, to maintain customer satisfaction.
4. IT Integration:
a. Ensure the custom codes of KSA are well accounted for in the system including communication to the Vendor management team
b. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of logistics systems with the e-commerce platform.
5. Process Improvement:
a. Continuously evaluate and improve logistics and operations processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
b. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to streamline operations.
6. Customer Experience:
a. Ensure that delivery timelines communicated to customers are met consistently.
b. Address and resolve any logistics-related customer issues promptly and effectively.
7. Reporting and Analysis:
a. Prepare regular reports on logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and efficiency metrics.
b. Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
Proven track record of managing 3PL logistics and operations, both locally and internationally.
Strong negotiation skills and experience in drafting and managing commercial agreements and SLAs.
Excellent understanding of fulfillment and reverse fulfillment processes.
Experience with logistics and supply chain technology integration.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in English and Arabic
