Graphic Designer/Digital Marketing Specialist will be a creative graphic designer and marketing professional responsible for integrating marketing tactics with community and business development strategies to increase the branding visibility and revenue for various NPHS lines of business.
This position requires graphic and web design skills to develop a variety of digital, print and other mediums while ensuring brand continuity and consistency for marketing and communications. Graphic Designer/ Digital Marketing Specialist will be expected to be entrepreneurial with customer-centric and business development skills to generate leads that drive consumer traffic to NPHS’ various lines of business to include, but not limited to: NPHS Realty, Community Lending, Affordable Housing Development, Small Business Services, and Sojourner Solar.
This role is team-centric, customer-focused, fast-paced and receives/provides art direction providing cutting-edge, creative thought and design solutions to marketing challenges for the organization. Digital Marketing Specialist will be required to work closely with the communications team and executive leadership to conceptualize and brand marketing materials using graphic design, web sites, social media, and printed materials. Additional preferred skills include real-world, working experiences with SEO, Google Analytics, and Google Ad Words.
Job Duties Include:
Prepare graphic design work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials and planning concept; illustrate concept by designing rough layout with sketches and mock-ups of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts;
Support the graphic and web design needs of NPHS’ various lines of business to understand their business goals, scope of work, and brand to develop customized design needs;
Coordinate, design and manage graphical content for all of platforms including websites, print media, social media, electronic newsletters, product design, displays and productions for organization and its clients;
Produce videos, photography, animated graphics and other electronic multimedia;
Actively participate in team brainstorming/concept development sessions;
Take creative critiques from management and clients to adjust design based on these critiques; adheres to organizations and clients branding guidelines;
Adhere to project deadlines and provides status updates on a regular basis to management;
Complete projects by coordinating with outside consultants, agencies, art services, printers, photographers, illustrators, other designers, staff, etc;
Maintain technical knowledge in graphic design and emerging trends;
Contribute to team effort by helping with other projects as needed;
Identifies target market, creates a brand image, and creates and maintains a marketing campaign for the internet and for digital technologies;
Increases brand awareness and promotes company products and services to increase production;
Puts together various online promotions and e-mailing campaigns to get NPHS’ message out, and also performs consumer research to discover other ways of reaching customers by way of the Internet;
Provide support for management of website’s SEO, Google Analytics report analysis, and Google Ad Words strategy;
Establish and manage business relationships with public and private organizations that will successfully generate leads and drive customer traffic to NPHS’ lines of business;
to increase brand awareness, promote company products or services and to drive prospects to conversions;
Community and business outreach including identification of potential business opportunities and partnerships;
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication, public relations, business management, community economic development, or related field;
3 to 5 years of related work experience;
Expert-level Adobe Creative Suite Skills (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator) is a must;
Excellent Typography Skills
Knowledge in key areas of marketing (SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and SEM);
Experience with the following is a plus; Javascript, HTML, CSS, and Word Press;
A good working knowledge of the interactive production process, including graphics and optimization, and web page production;
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities, while demonstrating strong attention to detail and appreciation of deadlines is essential;
Ability to communicate effectively visually, verbally and in written form with preferred Bilingual capabilities (English / Spanish);
Strong public speaking and presentation skills;
Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel);
Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to the job and the company core values;
