In Saudi Arabia, SYSTRA has been ever present for more than 20 years and continues to expand and play its part in helping the Kingdom achieve its 2030 vision. With 400+ employees SYSTRA is involved in many of the Kingdoms iconic projects.
We are currently seeking a Government Relations Specialist to join our team here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Missions/Main Duties:
- Applying for and renewing, as necessary company permits and registrations.
- Manage all SYSTRA’s operation licenses such as, Balady, Civil Defense
- Processing all visit visa (LOIs) and work visas applications and visa’s delegation on Enjaz & MOFA systems.
- Manage with all Corporate requirements related to MOCI, MHRSD, and MISA, follow-up for any new requirements.
- Support with All other governmental entities such as SEC, customs, GOSI and Mudad and Manage of all government system such as COC, Morror, Qiwa,
- Management of day-to-day affairs of SYSTRA including but not limited to their Exit/ Re-entry Visas, Iqamas, Passports, Labor law Dept, Morror etc.
- Management administrative of SYSTRA employees related systems like Ajeer system, labor law, Qiwa, Muqeem.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and stakeholders in Riyadh to promote SYSTRA’s interests and objectives.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments relevant to SYSTRA’s operations and provide timely analysis and recommendations to senior management.
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, presentations, and events with government officials to discuss SYSTRA’s projects, initiatives, and concerns.
- Serve as a liaison between SYSTRA and government entities in Riyadh to address issues, obtain permits, approvals, and resolve regulatory challenges.
- Advise internal teams on compliance with government regulations in Riyadh and assist in the development of strategies to mitigate regulatory risks.
- Prepare and submit reports, applications, and other documentation required by government agencies in Riyadh to support SYSTRA’s business activities.
- Stay informed about political, economic, and social trends that may impact SYSTRA’s operations and provide strategic insights to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, legal counsel, and business development teams, to ensure alignment with government relations strategies.
- Represent SYSTRA’s at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance the company's visibility and influence within the government sector.
- Uphold SYSTRA’s values and ethical standards in all interactions with government officials and external partners.
Profile/Skills:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in expat mobilization in the KSA region
- Knowledge of and sensitivity to KSA country norms, global cultures and practices
- Strong knowledge of immigration law pertaining to KSA work visas.
- Proven experience of succeeding in fast paced environments with sometimes ambiguous requirements.
- Experience within the Engineering industry preferred
