Job Title: Government Relations Officer (PRO) Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Job Overview: The Government Relations Officer (PRO) is primarily responsible for handling all government-related activities, including obtaining and renewing visas, licenses, and permits for the company and its employees. The PRO also manages communication with local authorities, ensuring compliance with Saudi regulations, and supporting the company’s public relations and communication efforts within the Kingdom. Key Responsibilities:
Government Liaison:
Act as the primary point of contact between the company and various government bodies, including the Ministry of Labor, GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance), and the Ministry of Interior.
Process and renew company licenses, including commercial registrations, Saudization certificates, and municipality licenses.
Obtain and renew work visas, iqamas (residence permits), exit/re-entry permits, and other employee-related documentation.
Compliance and Legal Affairs:
Ensure the company complies with all Saudi labor laws and government regulations.
Keep abreast of changes in government policies and procedures that could affect the company’s operations.
Assist in the preparation of legal documents required by government authorities and ensure they are submitted on time.
Public Relations:
Develop and maintain a positive relationship with local media, government officials, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage public relations activities that promote the company’s image within Saudi Arabia.
Draft and distribute press releases, and manage the company’s presence in local media.
Crisis Management:
Serve as the primary contact in case of any legal or regulatory issues that arise with government authorities.
Develop and implement crisis communication strategies to protect the company’s reputation.
Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of all government-related documents and correspondence.
Manage the timely payment of government fees and fines, ensuring the company remains in good standing with authorities.
Provide support to employees and their families regarding residency and other government-related issues.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of [X] years of experience as a Public Relations Officer in Saudi Arabia.
In-depth knowledge of Saudi labor laws, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
