Job Description
The General Foreman will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily construction site operations for a large-scale stadium project. This role includes ensuring that materials, equipment, and resources are efficiently managed and delivered to various project areas in a timely manner. The foreman will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and workers to maintain smooth project progression, meeting deadlines and safety standards.
Site Operations Management:
Supervise day-to-day operations of the construction site, focusing on the logistics and flow of materials.
Coordinate with the site manager and project management to align logistics strategies with project goals.
Ensure all workers and subcontractors follow the project schedule and complete tasks as planned.
Logistics Oversight:
Manage and oversee the delivery, storage, and allocation of materials, ensuring resources are in place for each phase of construction.
Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and in optimal condition.
Implement tracking systems for materials and equipment, preventing shortages or delays.
Team Leadership & Supervision:
Supervise, mentor, and lead teams of workers, ensuring work quality and efficiency.
Assign daily tasks to workers and ensure all activities comply with safety protocols and quality standards.
Train workers in the proper use of tools, machinery, and equipment required for stadium construction.
Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.
Liaise with subcontractors, engineers, and architects to communicate project progress and resolve logistical challenges.
Quality Control & Problem Solving:
Monitor construction quality, making sure that all work aligns with project specifications and industry standards.
Proactively address and resolve issues related to workforce, materials, or delays.
Assist in troubleshooting logistical or operational bottlenecks, optimizing the workflow to maintain project momentum.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction, with at least 3 years working on large-scale infrastructure projects (stadium projects highly preferred).
Proven logistics experience, especially in construction projects where timing and coordination of materials are critical.
Certification in construction safety (e.g., OSHA 30, NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
Forklift operator or heavy equipment certifications are a plus.
Strong knowledge of construction logistics and processes, with experience managing material and equipment flows.
Familiarity with project management software and logistics systems.
Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, specifications, and site plans.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
