Awtad is looking for a BMS Control Room Operator to join our dedicated team. As a BMS (Building Management System) Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the building’s various systems, including HVAC, lighting, and security systems. Your primary role will involve ensuring optimal building performance, troubleshooting issues, and responding to alarms in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced control room environment.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and control BMS systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Respond to system alarms and notifications to troubleshoot and address issues promptly.
Conduct regular system checks and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
Maintain accurate logs of system performance, alarms, and maintenance activities.
Coordinate with maintenance and technical teams to resolve operational issues.
Assist in the implementation of new system features and upgrades.
Provide support for system training and best practices to staff.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational protocols.

Requirements:

Technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in BMS or building controls.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, lighting controls, and security systems.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with BMS software and interfaces.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required.
