JOB DESCRIPTION
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assist in tracking and updating project costs, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping.
- Help in preparing and maintaining basic financial reports, such as cost summaries and budget variance reports.
- Support the project team by gathering data for project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reviews.
- Monitor project expenses and assist in flagging any cost discrepancies to senior team members.
- Help in the preparation of monthly financial reports by compiling relevant data.
- Work with senior controllers to ensure timely and accurate cost reporting, including tracking payments and invoices.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date financial documentation for ongoing projects.
- Support the finance team with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and responding to queries.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial records are accurate and up to date. Assist in providing project resources including personnel, equipment, and suppliers for various services

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Years of Experience/ Sector:
4+ Years of experience.
Job-Specific & Generic Skills:
- Good understanding of financial principles and cost management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in a financial role.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different teams.
**Security clearance**
This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance.
Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in Mo D approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country.
