The Company is opening a Verification and Validation (V&V) Manager position in its main Research and Development center.
As a V&V Manager within the System and Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for the specification and development of verification and validation strategies of high-performance control algorithms such as On-Board Chargers, DC-DC Converters, e-Motors (PMSM, WRSM, ASM) and traction Inverters for hybrid and electric vehicles. You will also be in charge of the planification, execution and result consolidation of all V&V activities throughout the project lifecycle.
An understanding of embedded real-time systems is necessary to carry out daily activities as well as experience implementing testing methodologies, tools, and techniques in different test environments (MIL, SIL and HIL). In addition, knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to the automotive domain (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE) will be a strong asset to our team. A good combination of technical expertise and leadership skills will also help the candidate to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of system and software products through effective planning, execution, and management of V&V activities.
Main responsibilities of the position of Verification and Validation (V&V) Manager include to:

Lead a team of tests engineers responsible for specifying, executing, automating tests and consolidating/reporting test results for the powertrain system.

Participate on system and software requirements analysis to ensure the features testability.

Develop test plan by defining test objectives, methodologies, and establishing acceptance criteria.

Prioritize testing activities based on development and integration planning.
-
Work closely with architects, designers, and technical leads to ensure alignment on testing requirements and objectives.

Coordinate testing teams in a multi-site environment.

Foster communication to facilitate efficient problem-solving and decision-making.
-
Participate in verification and validation of powertrain control algorithms at MIL, SIL and HIL levels.

Apply AGILE and A-SPICE development flow.

Ensure the quality management by understanding ISO26262 guidelines.

Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction metrics related to product quality and performance.

Oversee the documentation of tests activities (test plans, test cases, test groups, test cycle, test reports and coverage metrics reports)
The position requires pro-active involvement with all departments of the Company and customers.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Master's degree in embedded system engineering, or a related field.
Technical skills & experience:
-
Minimum of 10 years in a similar Manager position responsible for Verification and Validation.

Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate verification/validation teams toward achieving project goals and objectives.

In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including UT/IT/FT/QT/NRT Specification, execution, and automation under MIL, SIL and HIL.

Proficiency in test planification, risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in at least one of these domains:

UT/IT/FT/QT Tests specification, execution, and automation.

MIL, SIL, and HIL Testing activities.
-
Planning and follow-up of test activities.
Experience with risk management, problem-solving, and decision-making.

General knowledge of powertrain system control algorithms.

Knowledge of AGILE and A-SPICE development flows and quality norms (ISO 9001, ISO 26262).

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
