The Company is opening a Test Automation Engineer position in its main Research and Development center.
As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible of the verification and validation of high-performance control applications such as On-Board Chargers, DC-DC Converters, e-Motors (PMSM, WRSM, ASM) and traction Inverters for hybrid and electric vehicles (HEV/EV). You will be in charge of the automated test flow, specification and development of automated tests for these applications.
Main responsibilities of the position of Test Automation Engineer include to:

Define test automation flow.

Develop and maintain automation test flow.

Specify Unitary, Integration, Functional and Qualification tests following the defined requirements, architecture, and design elements.

Develop, maintain, and adapt existing tests (Non-Regression Tests).

Verify and validate powertrain control application.
-
Ensure automated download of the test results into the requirement management tool with the API REST interface.

Develop, Automated, and debug new tests (unitary, integration, functional and qualification tests).

Maintain and adapt existent tests (Non-Regression Tests).

Ensure tests coverage metrics (Static and dynamic analysis: Dead Code, MCDC, Condition, Decision, MISRA Rules, Overflow, Cyclomatic complexity, …).

Define test plan and test reports.

Validation on boards.

Work closely and collaborate with system and software engineers to understand the requirements, architecture, and design elements to be tested.

Apply AGILE and A-SPICE development flow.

Ensure the quality management by understanding ISO26262 guidelines and ISO 9001 standard and following the System and Software Engineering process.
The position requires pro-active involvement with all departments of the Company.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Master’s degree in embedded software engineering
Technical skills & experience:
-
Minimum of 5 years in automation test flow, test specification and development in a similar position.

Good knowledge in embedded software development in C language on 32 bits RISC CPU environment.

Knowledge of the environment and constraints of the automotive domain is a real advantage.

Good knowledge of System-On-Chip and hardware peripherals.

Good knowledge in Real Time system constraints.

Good analysis of solving technical issues.

Good knowledge of scripting (Python, MATLAB)

Rigorous and well-organized
-
Experience in debugging tools (JTAG box, Debugger, etc.).

Analytical skills for debugging software.

Knowledge of AGILE and A-SPICE development flows and quality standards (ISO 9001, ISO 26262).
Language skills:

Fluent in English

German and French speaking is a plus.

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
