Job Description
The travel team supports all aspects of business travel, ensuring safety, comfort, and punctuality for client meetings, workshops, and other important events. Their core objective is to facilitate seamless travel experiences before, during, and after employee trips.
As a Travel Officer at Endava you will provide support for any issues raised by end user related to Self Service Booking Tool or even book travel services outside the tool. You will be doing this ensuring travel policies and processes align with applicable laws and are adhered to by all staff. Responsibilities:
Offer usage guidance for Self-Bookers and Approvers who are using Travel Self Service Booking Tool
Provide support for any issues raised by end user related to Self Service Booking Tool
Manage business travel for bookings arranged through third parties, outside the Travel Self Service Booking Tool
Arrange flight tickets, accommodation, car rentals & trains as per company travel policy and cost effectively
Manage the relation with third party companies which act as Endava suppliers
Learn and use appropriately company tools; for ex Oracle- create Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders in Oracle for all travel services arranged outside the Travel Self Service Booking Tool
Ensures travel policies and processes align with applicable laws and are adhered to by all staff
Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Qualifications
English language at C1 or C2 levels
2 + years of previous experience in the travel department or Travel Agency
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other common ERP
Previous experience with Oracle is a plus
People and detail oriented, flexible, and mindful of company resources
Proficient with numbers and knowledge of basic financial terms (credit, debit, invoice)
Very well organized and good time manager
