Simulation Engineer

What to expect:
- Your tasks include the simulation side support
- Method and vehicle development projects.
- From the early concept phase through to the start of series production, you will oversee product development from the perspective of CAE functional design.
- We offer possible applications in the areas of stiffness and overall vehicle crash, pedestrian and passenger protection.
- Carrying out and checking the plausibility of calculations, creating presentations and presenting the results to the customer
- Development and implementation of optimization suggestions
- You analyze and evaluate concepts and construction stages. You develop variants, correlate models with test results and, together with the stakeholders, define the further procedure in technical product development.
What you bring along:
- You have completed a technical or scientific (technical) university degree.
- Ideally, you have several years of relevant professional experience in the field of technical calculation
- Preferably you come from the automotive sector and have very good knowledge of numerical calculation methods, technical mechanics and materials science, which you can use specifically in functional product simulation.
- Experience with the relevant solvers, PAM-CRASH, Ls-Dyna, Nastran, Fem Fat as well as the pre- and post-processors ANSA, META, Generator, Animator are essential.
- Knowledge of Lo Co, Python, VCP desirable.
- Good communication skills in English (German skills are an advantage).
