As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer within our Managed Services function, you’ll become a pivotal part of our on-going commitment to our key customers to provide a “best in class” experience, to ensure the future success of Appsbroker CTS in different sectors (financial, manufacturing, retail, etc).
Our solutions are built in the Google Platform and use the latest technologies such as Google App Engine, Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Big Query, Cloud SQL, Docker and Microservices architecture leveraging Java/Spring Boot. This offers an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to gain exposure to the latest Cloud Technology, giving you the chance to work with our portfolio of applications that we have developed and all the technologies behind them.
Qodea is dynamic and the role is varied so you’ll get involved in a wide range of activities but here are the main customer-facing things we’ll need you to do:
Consultative delivery of Platform engineering solutions
Be enthusiastic and team orientated
Document reviews and NFR support for projects
Create and deliver engaging presentations, on occasion
Understand resilient, load-balanced and secure platform systems
Willing to learn Platform/Infrastructure and/or Dev Ops engineering experience for enterprise customers
Please Note: Previous experience of Google Cloud (GCP) is not essential. Experience of one of the other major Public Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) would be sufficient.
Responsibilities:
Deployment oversight: Oversee various cloud platform implementations and coordinate with other supporting teams
Incident resolution: Investigate and resolve incidents related to cloud platform services, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient problem-solving
Emergency response: As part of the on-call rotation, promptly address critical issues related to cloud services, ensuring timely resolution and minimal impact on system availability
Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough post-incident reviews to identify root causes, document findings, and recommend preventive measures to enhance system reliability
Demonstrate an engineering and Dev Ops mindset
Be collaborative and proactive, and show strong attention to detail, problem-solving and critical thinking
Provide articulate, persuasive and commercially aware Dev Ops engineering services for enterprise customers

Requirements
Key Skills:
Public Cloud engineering experience: GCP, AWS or Azure
Coding / Programming experience, ideally with Python
Related industry qualifications - GCP or AWS

Location:
This role can be either fully remote or hybrid based depending on your preference. We have an office in Iași, which you can choose to work from as often as you like. There is no mandatory office working, but you might be expected to travel to offices or customer sites for specific meetings or events.
