Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in team rituals and contribute to new features planning.
- Conduct bugs triage to categorise and prioritise issues for resolution.
- Perform manual testing for new features and bug fixes.
- Act as a quality champion in cross-functional product team.
- Contribute to automated test suites, analyse and reproduce failing tests.
- Conduct manual testing of release candidates to ensure deployment readiness.
Obligatory:
- Successful candidates typically have 5 years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in mobile product testing.
- Familiarity with common tools like Charles Proxy, Fiddler, Proxymon, Android Studio, adb, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of testing methodologies, strategies, and processes, with a deep understanding of test-case design.
- Understanding of the concept of shift-left testing and actual experience applying it in your work.
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks in the mobile application development and testing process.
- Previous test automation experience, preferably with mobile frameworks.
- Great attention to detail.
Preferably:
- Ability to write clean and maintainable code in Kotlin.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit, Espresso, or writing automated tests for Compose UI.
- Experience with or knowledge of security testing.
