Your tasks
The Production Specialist acts as an IT specialist who carries out various tasks related to the IT services within the service operations organization of the service management environment. He provides his expertise and supports the respective service teams to ensure that the Service Operations area provides effective IT services.
You support home loan savings applications and IT systems and support measures to realign them in Deutsche Bank data centers and cloud service providers
You support IT service operations, e.g. in troubleshooting and solving faults and issues and work with other IT service specialists and relevant departments to solve problems effectively and quickly
You are in constant communication with colleagues and work together to optimize service operations processes to create sustainable and secure IT operations
You contribute to the functional expansion of IT monitoring by designing and implementing various improvement measures and ensuring that defined performance indicators are monitored and adhered to
You pursue the tasks and goals of service operations as part of the business continuity management processes
Your qualifications
Completed university degree in a scientific or technical field with a focus on IT; alternatively, comparable education
Understanding of distributed IT systems and the IT operation of complex application and infrastructure environments
Experience with various IT technologies, such as Windows, RHEL, VMware, IBM Mainframe, DB2/Oracle/MS SQL databases, middleware, SAP as well as job scheduler and automation tools (preferably Automic UC4)
Familiar with ITIL processes and the application of IT operational process-relevant tools (e.g. Service Now, JIRA, ALM)
Open-minded, empathetic and strong communicator personality who knows how to convince others, set priorities and effectively pass on knowledge combined with a high customer and service orientation towards internal and external contacts.
