Discover ING Hubs Romania
ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of over 1700 high-performing engineers, risk, and operations professionals.
We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.
Now we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
Our tech capabilities remain the core of our business, with more than 1500 colleagues active in Data Management, Touchpoint Channels & Integration, Core Banking, and Global Products.
We enjoy a flexible way of working and a highly collaborative environment, where fair and constructive feedback is encouraged.
For us, impact isn't a perk. It's the driver of our work.
We are guided and rewarded by a shared desire to make the world a better place, one innovative solution at a time. Our colleagues make it their job to do impactful things and they love doing it in good company. Do you?
The Mission
Financial Markets (FM) is the Bank’s gateway to the professional markets around the world. Our primary function is to service the needs of ING’s clients with products, services and guidance. FM aims to be a significant player in our market leader and challenger markets, with an additional presence in all the major international markets and specialist expertise in selected emerging markets and products.
Within FM, in Competitive Pricing area, we have ING Pricing Architecture (IPA) platform, which consists of multiple components that enable real-time and batch calculations of financial risk metrics and simulations (e.g. XVA, PFE, Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, Bilateral Margining, pre-deal derivatives Pricing) which are driven by new banking regulations as well as advanced Risk analysis on the derivative product portfolio of Financial Markets (interest rates, credits, foreign exchange). This platform is in the heart of the IT landscape for our global dealing rooms and risk managers in Asia, Europe and Americas, with aprox. 30 scrum teams spread across 4 locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Bucharest and Singapore), cooperating to evolve it towards target ING Financial Markets IT vision.
In particular, IPA Trade Store squad’s main purpose is to build and consolidate the centralized trade store within FM Competitive Pricing, by capturing trades from a variety of Deal Capture systems used by the FO/Trading & FO/Sales divisions. The trade data is afterwards consumed by both pricing and risk engines integrated within the platform, or by risk and analytics reporting system.
