Main Activities
As part of the BRF Procurement team, lead, develop, negotiate, and implement service and indirect material negotiations for maintenance-repair-overhaul (MRO), spare parts, and equipment in close collaboration with the main stakeholders across all three regions: Bandırma, İzmir, and Elazığ
Take responsibility for defining the short, medium, and long-term Services & Indirect Materials (S&IM) strategy for the regio
Responsible for leading system design projects to improve procurement processes and business results for these sub-categories
Act as a member and sometimes leader in developing and implementing services and indirect material (S&IM) efficiency projects in close collaboration with the technical department
Participate in creating new ideas for data management issues and tracking the procurement department's targets. Develop the required database and create procurement performance reports to present to the procurement and related departments in the region
Supply goods to three different factories
Responsible for managing more than 100 local and international suppliers from 8-10 different countries
Maintain relationships with all procurement teams for their business results, performance tracking, and other related departments such as controlling, legal, finance, and business development
Requirements
University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement
Residing in Istanbul / Bandırma or willing to relocate
Knowledge and Skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word)
Experience with ERP (SAP) – Procurement (MM)
Background in technical procurement
Familiarity with budget, cost, and financial mathematics
Strong communication skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong analytical abilities with a creative problem-solving approach
Team player with a collaborative mindset
