This role is part of the Procurement VRM function and the main scope is to cover a series of administrative activities such as on-boarding of suppliers onto Colt’s purchasing systems, PR approval, supplier due diligence and risk assessment.
Role is key as well in ensuring supplier information is kept up to date and accurate so to support the need for bulk communication to our vendors.
- Setup suppliers onto the Colt procurement system (Ariba, SAP)
- Approve PR for a defined set of category
- Perform supplier due diligence before onboarding them (Credit Checks, Refinitiv World Check One, Risk, sustainability)
- Ensure the database is accurate and always up to date
- Regularly cleanse data
- Deactivate suppliers that have had no spend for the last 18 months
- Manage Supply Risk process by conducting regular vendor checking (D&B reports) and managing the VRM portal (Vendor Risk Management tool)
- Review the vendor management data quality and implement the corrective actions liaising with Accounting team.
- Regularly review the supplier base and ensure no duplications have been created
- Support the Ariba / SAP data integration quality
- Procurement & Supply Help Desk management – answers to stakeholders queries
- Continuous vendor audit and credit checks following corporate policies
- Manage the SOW in Fieldglass
- Drive and monitor No PO – No Pay Compliance

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or a relevant field
