Payroll Specialist

What You’ll Do:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in processing monthly payroll and managing employee payments and benefits.
Key Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly payroll and payments to employees and authorities.
  • Collect information about hours worked for each employee.
  • Calculate correct amounts including overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Prepare payment orders in an electronic system or complete payment checks.
  • Manage monthly statements.
  • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
  • Keep track of hourly rates, wages, and compensatory allowances.
  • Respond to salary requests from employees and superiors.
  • Prepare reports for management or the finance department.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, we're seeking candidates with:
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant accounting/HR qualification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Experience working with international/multinational companies.
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to confidentiality and detail.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing.
  • Fluency in Romanian and English.
  • At least 1 year of experience.
