What You’ll Do: As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in processing monthly payroll and managing employee payments and benefits. Key Duties/Responsibilities:
Process monthly payroll and payments to employees and authorities.
Collect information about hours worked for each employee.
Calculate correct amounts including overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
Prepare payment orders in an electronic system or complete payment checks.
Manage monthly statements.
Process taxes and payment of employee benefits.
Keep track of hourly rates, wages, and compensatory allowances.
Respond to salary requests from employees and superiors.
Prepare reports for management or the finance department.
Requirements: To excel in this role, we're seeking candidates with:
Bachelor’s degree or relevant accounting/HR qualification.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Experience working with international/multinational companies.
Knowledge of payroll legislation and regulations.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to confidentiality and detail.
Proven experience in payroll processing.
Fluency in Romanian and English.
At least 1 year of experience.
