You will:
Deploy, configure, and maintain monitoring and automation tools such as Data Dog and Jira Service Management.
Ensure proper integration and functionality of these tools within the existing infrastructure.
Diagnose and resolve communication errors related to monitoring and automation systems.
Monitor network performance, configure alarms, and proactively assess impact by reaching out to customers.
Ensure alerts and reports are delivered accurately and consistently.
Create, update, and maintain standards and documentation related to monitoring and automation activities.
Assist in developing monitoring skills within relevant functions, enabling team members to manage their monitors independently.
Collaborate with the IT Trainer to develop and implement training programs for the department.
Follow the incident process to identify areas for monitoring improvement.
Work with other departments to resolve monitoring and prevention-related issues.
Provide automation solutions to minimize human interaction with various technologies.
Create and maintain workflows that automate departmental processes.
Analyze historical data and metrics to refine existing automated tasks and implement new automation strategies.
Participate in regular meeting to stay informed of changes, projects, direction also gathering requirements for new monitoring or enhancements required.
Ensure creation of different types of tickets automatically (incidents, monitoring events) triggered from the monitoring tool.

We Ask:
Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
A self-directed approach with a high degree of initiative to investigate and get issues resolved while motivating others to contribute to solutions.
Critical and proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Proficient in Power Shell, Python, Terraform scripts or other automation tools.
Knowledge of ITIL processes (incident management, problem management, event management, change management, etc.).
Experience working with Kanban/Scrum/Stories/Retrospectives or other Agile methods is a big plus.
Experience with Atlassian products like Jira, Bitbucket and Jira Service Desk is a plus.
Knowledge of Ansible, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, (virtual) server environments, Google Cloud Functions, Git, Databases, networking, application management, monitoring software and basic hardware knowledge.
