Junior Design Engineer
Job responsibilities:
- Create CAD models and drawings based on customer specific requirements and internal standards
- Perform specific research components of a larger project
- Theoretical technical evaluation of designs, functions and performance, such as tolerance studies, risk-evaluation, mechanical strength, compatibility and interference to adjacent components
- Define requirements for components
- Practical technical evaluation of designs, functions and performance, such as strength tests, geometrical measurements, functional and corrosion resistance tests
- Work with various core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA)
- Execute and maintain development milestones
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Good level of communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Good command of the English language, German is a plus
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good computer skills, specifically MS Office and CAD-software, SAP is a plus
