IT Support Specialist

THE ROLE

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with around 3-4 years of experience. The candidate will support a
worldwide company of 50 sites and 7000 users.

Experience and expertise in the PC world and general Information Technology are required.


OPPORTUNITIES

  • You will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical problems that impact employees within the
    global organization. First and second-level support.
  • You will manage the day-to-day operation of systems related to end-user devices (Laptops, Phones, etc.)
  • You will ensure incoming requests are logged properly using the ticketing tools that are available and solved.
  • You will perform impact analysis as appropriate.
  • You will create and maintain documentation such as solutions to issues, end-user guides, IT support guides,
    etc.
  • You will support and work with IT asset management
  • You will support Procurement process for IT-related purchases (PR, PO, etc.)
  • You will support and work together with other IT departments within the organization.
  • You will support and work with other teams for local office events like town halls, Global meetings etc.


SKILLS

  • You should have around 3-4 years' experience in general Information Technology.
  • You should be university-educated and Full/Part qualified IT support would be an advantage.
  • You should have the ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • You should be a fast learner with a proactive mindset.
  • You should be self-motivated, positive, and "can-do" attitude.
  • You should have the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
  • You should have the ability to work effectively alone and within a team.
  • You should have strong communication skills, oral and written.
  • You should have strong organizational skills, excellent time management skills, and ability to prioritize workload.
  • You should have a security mindset about Information Technology.

  • You should have strong computer hardware knowledge of Windows 10/11 and MS Office installation, imaging, and
    debugging.
  • You should have good knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, and ticketing systems.
  • You should have good English language skills, written and verbal.
  • You should have TCP/IP networking and network cabling knowledge.
  • You should have knowledge of AV systems for video calls, meetings, etc.
Optional Knowledge:
  • Apple Mac OS/JAMF
  • Hardware (Servers, network appliances)
  • Windows Server OS, Azure AD, SCCM
  • Microsoft Certifications
  • VMware/Citrix
  • Ticketing system (Manage engine)
