HW Development Engineer

What to expect:
- Circuit design focused on definable work packages;
- Circuit diagram and layout creation for simple topics, long-term projects (product design updates), and customer-specific projects;
- Creation and review of components in the database on request;
- Firmware design within the evopro or customer development structure;
- Creation of firmware libraries and modules, including unit tests;
- Conducting code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with best practices;
- VHDL design, similar to firmware development;
- Using Altium Designer for schematic and layout design;
- Working with IAR Workbench (C, C++) or other development environments depending on the project requirements;
- Utilizing Altera Quartus or Xilinx Vivado for VHDL design;
- Applying MS-Office tools for documentation and reporting tasks.
What you bring along:
- Successfully completed technical studies;
- 2+ years of professional experience in circuit design and related fields;
- Proficiency in firmware design, including experience with library/module creation and unit testing;
- Solid understanding and experience in VHDL design;
- Advanced knowledge of Altium Designer;
- Experience with IAR Workbench or similar development environments;
- Familiarity with Altera Quartus and Xilinx Vivado;
- Strong analytical and communication skills;
- Knowledge of written and spoken English is required; knowledge of the German language is an advantage.
