The purpose of the Finance Operations Specialist role is to act as a Subject Matter Expert in at least one of the three main Oracle finance pillars – Accounts Receivable, General Ledger and Purchase to Pay with a good understanding of all finance activity.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Provides outstanding customer service and support to the users of Oracle, ensuring questions and issues are resolved in a timely manner;
- Work dedicated tasks and tickets as per the Finance Operations mailbox rota;
- Responsible for managing the mailbox; including the allocation of tickets across the team;
- Support general ledger daily activities, posting journal entries, setting up allocation formulas & fiscal year end setups for all European sites;

Support strategic and process improvement projects as and when required, these could include:
- New implementations of Oracle and related modules
- Systems and process enhancements and improvements
- System upgrades
- System testing
- Deliver training to users on and multi-functional teams on systems and processes under the scope of the Finance Operations Group;
- Perform system testing and validation as and when required;
- Ensure integrity of co – existing financial systems by developing and maintaining daily reconciliation processes;
- Actively support and work on Projects to provide Automation and Standardization for the Finance community;
Support month-end reporting, e.g. Hyperion (HFM) reporting and supporting the Oracle sites with their month end processes.

This Role, You Will Need:
- University degree;
- 3+ years of experience in General Ledger accounting, Accounts Receivable or Purchase to Pay;
- Experience working with Oracle or SAP;
- English proficiency;
- Good Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills in support of organizational change;
- Flexible teammate with ability to work in cross-functional teams and across varying groups and interpersonal levels.
