A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Expert External Reporting, you are responsible for the preparation of (parts of) Siemens Energy’s Consolidated Financial Statements and external disclosures and supervise the data delivery and consolidation process in line with our corporate consolidation system landscape.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You are part of our first level support/coordination for entities and hubs in preparing external and internal closing according to IFRS and HGB and for our non-financial reporting (CSRD/EU Taxonomy) as well as for queries relating to guidelines, chart of accounts and booking/consolidation topics
• You prepare parts of consolidation, analyses and reporting for regular (monthly, quarterly, and annual) financial statements and coordinate the consolidation of parts of Financial Statements (Balance sheet, P&L, Equity Roll forward) according to the accounting standards IFRS, HGB/German GAAP and also for our non-financial reporting (CSRD/EU Taxonomy)
• You analyze, evaluate and ensure up-to-date reports for the group or "Accounting & Controlling" management: This includes the identification, analysis and commenting of development/changes in external financial statements
• You are responsible for plausibility checks and clarification of accounting topics in agreement with the Companies, Hubs and Corporate Units. Additionally, you prepare external disclosures
• You support the coordination of the group consolidation process in the corporate consolidation system and participate in implementing external and internal regulations/guidelines into IT-demands regarding the respective closing systems (corporate consolidation system, ERP-systems)
• You participate in (sub-)projects with accounting/reporting impact (e.g. reorganizations, implementation of new IFRS/CSRD/EUT standards or corporate consolidation systems)

What You Bring

• Bachelor´s or master´s degree in economics or a similar field. An additional commercial apprenticeship is appreciated.
• You have already collected experience in the accounting area (preferably in accounting/reporting), audit, in accounting related central departments
• You have excellent customer focus as well as skills in execution and decision making. You know how to build effective networks & partnerships
• You bring knowledge in IFRS/HGB accounting, IFRS/HGB Guidelines as well as IFRS/HGB chart of accounts and you are familiar with internal reporting, forecast and budget
• Distinct time management skills to keep tight deadlines, flexibility to adjust support/services to (ad hoc) requirements and a high measure of integrity dealing with confidential information are vital
• Proficient skills in English are required for this position
