You`ll work as part of a stable and flexible team on a specific range of clients and assignments. You`ll be encouraged and expected to take accountability and make an impact.
Your key responsibilities
- Checks and validates that the entries in the local accounting system are in line with the applicable reporting requirements;
- Review the annual statutory financial statements and the half yearly accounting reports;
- Perform tax compliance work;
- Timely identify possible accounting and tax compliance issues and communicate these to the manager in charge;
- Coordinate and supervise the accounting assistant(s) and provide on the job guidance and constant feedback on the accounting and tax work. (substantive support, delegation of tasks)
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for consistency
- A deep understanding of accounting requirements, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing accounting reporting.
- Open to learning, willingness to self-development and constantly expanding knowledge
To qualify for the role, you must have
- University degree in Economics
- +2 years of experience as Accountant in bookkeeping
- English language – medium/advanced level
- Excel – advanced level
