As an Engineering Manager specializing in Node.js, you will hold a dual role as both a Technical leader and a People manager. Your responsibilities will include coaching and training team members, fostering a high-performing engineering organization. Job requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management position. Demonstrated expertise in developing applications using Node.js is crucial;
- Proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks such as Express and Nest JS;
- Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing microservices architectures. Familiarity with best practices for developing microservices, including inter-service communication, containerization, and orchestration using tools like Docker and Kubernetes;
- Understanding of the importance of testing code, both individually and functionally, for each new feature or bugfix;
- Proficiency in database technologies, encompassing SQL and No SQL, and solid knowledge of API design principles;
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes;
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Java Script, and popular frameworks such as React or Angular;
- Knowledge or familiarity with Ruby on Rails is considered advantageous;
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;

Responsibilities
- Take the lead in managing, mentoring, and nurturing a team consisting of web and backend engineers. Provide them with the necessary guidance and resources, ensuring that the team collectively achieves business objectives;
- Collaborate closely with a product manager to establish the roadmap for your team. As the end-to-end owner of the team's production, quality, and delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects;
- Supervise the planning, execution, and timely delivery of projects, ensuring that they align with the company's strategic goals. Maintain a focus on meeting deadlines and driving project success;

Collaborate with the Talent & People teams to recruit, develop, and retain top talent. Additionally, work closely with the Engineering Director, Engineering Managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and establish realistic timelines.
