Data Factory Specialist

The Role
As a Data Factory Specialist you will support the Timisoara Research Team in assessing and improving the quality of our solutions in order to achieve state of the art performance by using both in-house and external tools to accurately analyse and label data.
What you'll do
- Analyse, report and document issues faced during the data annotation process to the Research Team and discuss solutions to improve data processing efficiency / quality.
- Support researchers in developing machine learning models through accurately categorising content, labelling images / sequences and annotating data.
- Provide continuous feedback for improvement of the internally used toolset (including development of new tools).
- Contribute to workflow process improvements.
- Adhere to internal labelling workflows and project success metrics and timeline
- Keep in sync with researchers to ensure / maintain data quality / throughput consistency.
Collaborating with
- Collaborate with researchers to determine and understand input data (covering highly dynamic, complex scenarios…identifying edge-cases) pinpointing areas of interest in videos and images (not strictly limited to this).
- Collaborate with Team Leads on planning (workload balancing) and quality-related issues (QC cycles)
- Collaborate with external teams (India/Serbia)
Profile and Skills
- Basic computer literacy and IT experience such as basic knowledge of productivity software (e.g. office suites), file manipulation procedures, online platform operation.
- Excellent keyboard typing skills.
- Basic knowledge in mathematics and statistics.
- High adaptability to new tools / applications.
- Capacity to work on repetitive tasks efficiently and effectively with minimal errors.
- Comfortable in handling large data sets on a regular basis, in a highly organized manner.
- Excellent communication, analytical and good reasoning skills.
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence and machine learning.
- Good organisational skills; ability to estimate and to prioritize work appropriately.
- Commitment to agreed estimations (reliability) in order to manage deadlines.
- Proactivity, attention to details.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative work environment.
Additional Skills
- Experience with data labelling activities and tools is a plus.
- Experience with image-editing tools.
- University degree is a plus.
