SYNERGY CONSTRUCT is recruiting a Construction Manager to join the team located in TARGU MURES.
Responsibilities: 1. Project Works Coordination:
Develop suitable strategies in order to fulfill the construction works and material aquisition according to the timeline of the project and the budget.
Organize site engineers in oder to cover all the planned works
2. Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality control processes to meet or exceed industry standards.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet project specifications.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to address any quality concerns promptly.
3. Team Leadership:
Provide clear direction and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Encourage professional development and training opportunities for team members.
4. Risk Management:
Conduct thorough risk assessments at key project milestones in accordance with the technical documentations received and internal management decision.
Support in developing risk mitigation plans and strategies to address potential issues.
Communicate potential risks to PM and implement proactive measures to minimize their impact.
5. Communication:
Establish regular communication channels with all project architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Provide timely and transparent updates on project progress, challenges, and resolutions.
Address issues and conflicts promptly, seeking collaborative solutions to ensure project success.
6. Health and Safety:
Implement and supervise a comprehensive safety program for the construction site.
Participate at regular safety meetings and training sessions for all team members.
Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure working environment.
Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field:
A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in construction field.
2. Proven experience as a Construction Manager on healthcare or hospital projects (in an advantage): - Demonstrated success in managing similar-sized projects from initiation to completion.
Knowledge of specialized requirements for hospital construction projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of construction management processes, building codes, and regulations:
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations.
Collaborate with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills: - Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team toward common project goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with various stakeholders.
5. Ability to manage site works and schedules effectively:
Proven experience in successfully coordinating construction works.
6. Proficient in project management software and tools: - Demonstrated proficiency in using industry-standard project management software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera).
Ability to leverage technology to enhance project efficiency and communication.
