The successful candidate can successfully analyse product data, develop a competitive robust process, considering all tolerance requirements for the latest Automotive Industry materials. Have a full understanding of the latest high strength materials, product manufacturing, heat treatment and joining technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize the manufacturing system layouts.
- Perform product manufacturability analysis.
- Support of GD&T/ Tolerance stack-up analysis, development of Clamping Plans and P-FMEA documentation.
- Support of process change management and quote development.
- Support of continuous improvement efforts in Corporate Best Practices, Bench marking activities and Lessons learned.
- Support global launch activities as required.
Knowledge and Education
- Post-Secondary education e.g. university, college, technical school, special studies or equivalent, trade with shopfloor experience in Automotive manufacturing.
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in related industry. (Automotive preferred)
- Excellent English skills (fluent in spoken and written, presentation skills)
- German language (an asset)
- Proficiency in ACAD or similar and Experience with 3D CAD software an asset.
- Experience with 3D Process Software an asset. (Visual Components, Process Designer, Process Simulate)
- Advanced GD&T knowledge and interpretation skills.

- Chassis and Body-In-White Welding and Assembly fixture design experience.
- Aluminium BIW (Body-in-white) assembly (an asset)
