Mitigate the risk of losses by resolving disputes with suppliers to reclaim debit balances and other liabilities. You will collaborate internally with our commercial team and externally with our partners, suppliers, and Virtual Credit Card providers, meeting targets set out by your team manager.

In this role you will
Mitigate the risk of losses by resolving disputes with suppliers to reclaim debit balances and other liabilities. You will collaborate internally with our commercial team and externally with our partners, suppliers, and Virtual Credit Card providers, meeting targets set out by your team manager.
Key responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve instances of supplier overpayments. Review the causes of issues and suggest new procedures to prevent repeat occurrences.
- Liaise with Virtual Credit Card providers to resolve duplicate charges and overcharges on a monthly basis. Ensure undisputed chargebacks are received from our providers to mitigate losses.
- Negotiate override reclaim deductions with suppliers as per contractual agreements. Resolve disputes and challenges on production figures.
- Identify where processes can be improved. Document changes, implement training and ensure compliance with new procedures.
The skills we would love to see in your suitcase!
- Financial accounting background and knowledge of a financial systems.
- Experience in negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Excel intermediate Level.
- Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Highly accurate with an excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales.
- V-lookup/Pivot & Functions would be an additional advantage.
- Experience with KPI’s trends, results tracking and reporting.
- SAP experience desirable.
