Job Description: As a Purchasing Officer at Valence Group, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure that the company acquires high-quality goods and services at competitive prices. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to understand their needs, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of products. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the company’s needs.
Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
Collaborate with other departments to identify and fulfill purchasing requirements.
Evaluate supplier performance and resolve any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role within the hospitality (Food and beverage) industry.
Strong knowledge of the hospitality sector and its unique purchasing needs.
Proven track record of successful negotiations and supplier management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Valid Qatar driving license.
Locally available in Qatar.
