Ground Based Training System (GBTS) Technician
On behalf of a Third party, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Qatar has an immediate opening for Ground Based Training System (GBTS) Technician
This challenging position involves
- Daily readiness checks and carrying out the maintenance of PC-21 Ground Based Training System (GBTS) equipment (flight simulators, procedures trainers, computer based training, mission planning and debriefing system) safely, efficiently and to the highest standards
- Accurately completing maintenance records and improving associated documentation and procedures
- Supporting pilots and other customer representatives on a technical level
- Reporting and raising any observations with regard to; continuous improvement, safety management, and customer satisfaction
This position requires the following skills and background
- Professional GBTS technician with at least 5 years' experience of troubleshooting and working with simulation and associated equipment
- Have a sound knowledge of PC board-level maintenance, backup systems, Microsoft Windows networks, and basic Linux skills
- Demonstrable experience of carrying out maintenance activities accurately and in a demanding environment
- Act in a mature, well organised and professional manner and be dedicated to providing an extremely high quality output
- Be flexible about working times and willing to commit to additional effort if required
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
