Construction Manager - Civil
This position is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Construction Manager will ensure adherence to safety regulations, manage resources and resolve issues that arise during construction.

Key Responsibility:
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and clients.
- Ensure all necessary permits and regulatory requirements are in place before construction begins.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of engineers, site supervisors, and contractors.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations on site.
- Monitor performance of team members and subcontractors to ensure project targets are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the company, clients, architects, and external contractors.
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project expectations.
- Coordinate the efforts of all parties involved, including contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants.
- Manage the financial aspects of the construction project, including budgeting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
- Track and control construction costs to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Approve expenditures and manage financial aspects of construction contracts to protect the company’s interests.
- Ensure that all work is completed according to specifications, design plans, and client requirements.
- Ensure that construction activities comply with industry standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any quality issues promptly.
- Promote and ensure adherence to the highest standards of health and safety on-site.
- Implement and monitor compliance with safety programs to ensure the safety of workers and the public.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the progress of the construction project.
- Keep management informed of project status, including any risks, delays, or challenges encountered.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large civil construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial.
