Menu Development: Create and refine a mouthwatering menu focused on fried chicken, incorporating both classic and inventive options.
Recipe Creation: Develop and test recipes for fried chicken, sides, sauces, and other menu items, ensuring consistent quality and flavor.
Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Quality Control: Ensure all dishes meet our high standards for taste, presentation, and food safety.
Cost Management: Develop and manage budgets, control food costs, and implement cost-effective practices without compromising quality.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an commis 1 particularly in a concept focused on fried chicken or similar cuisine.
Strong knowledge of frying techniques, Southern cooking, and flavor profiles.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Ability to create and innovate menu items while maintaining consistency.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
