*Role Description:
Extensive knowledge of common drinks, which they use to recommend drinks to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines. Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages.

*Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers and distributing menus.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
- Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages for food and beverage servers or serve directly.
- Clean all bar surfaces to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
- Take bar inventory and place reorders.
- Ensure compliance with provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the respective position is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and a positive attitude.
